Itinerary

Day 1: Board Karambhoomi Express [22511] from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus [LTT] at 01:15 PM and proceed to New Jalpaiguri [NJP] Railway Station. (Note: There is no food included in the train journey)

Day 2: Enjoy the train journey with your travel companions towards New Jalpaiguri [NJP] Railway Station.

Day 3: NJP – Gangtok (Local Sightseeing)

Reach NJP station by 05:00 AM [train may delay by 2-3 hours due to extreme climatic conditions] and proceed to Gangtok by bus/car. The city is situated in the midst of natural beauty. Gangtok is the capital city of Sikkim state. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Freshen up and have lunch. After lunch, we proceed to visit local sights of Gangtok such as Ropeway (own cost), Chorten Monastery, Banjhakri Waterfall, Ganesh Tok, and Tashi View Point. After that, enjoy shopping at famous M.G. Mall Road of Gangtok. The day ends with a DJ night and dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Gangtok Tsomgo Lake (55 km / 3 hours)

After breakfast, we proceed to visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir and Tsomgo Lake snow point. After enjoying the snow point, return to the hotel in the evening. Later in the evening, you can explore local Sikkim culture on your own. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Gangtok – Kalimpong – Pelling (140 km / 4 hours)

Have breakfast and transfer to Pelling via Jorethang – a drive of 140 km / 4 hours through scenic roads. En route, if we have time, we can enjoy white water river rafting at Kalimpong (at your own cost). On arrival, check-in to the hotel. The routes are forested with botanical and zoological richness. We visit Orange Garden and Khecheopalri Lake, which is one of the holy Buddhist lakes. Evening is free to roam around the helipad or shopping centre (at your own). Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 6: Pelling – Darjeeling (80 km / 4 hours)

Early morning, have breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Proceed to the Pelling Skywalk, which is India’s first glass-bottom Skywalk. After sightseeing, move towards Darjeeling, which will take 3-4 hours to reach. On arrival at Darjeeling, check-in to the hotel and have lunch. Later, you can explore the local market of Darjeeling on your own. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Early morning at 4:00 AM, travel to Tiger Hill, one of the best sunrise points in India, and Batasia Loop. After enjoying sunrise at Tiger Hill, return back to the hotel. Post breakfast, we proceed to visit local sightseeing such as Zoological Park, Peace Pagoda, and Monasteries of Darjeeling. After all sightseeing, return to the hotel for lunch and it’s leisure time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Darjeeling – Nepal – NJP Station

After delicious breakfast, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel and proceed to visit Gopaldhara Tea Estate, Pashupatinath market (Nepal) for shopping, and Mirik lake for boating (at own cost). After boating, we proceed towards New Jalpaiguri railway station. Board Guwahati LTT Express 15648 from NJP at 11:50 pm for return journey towards Mumbai. (Note: there is no food included in the train journey)

Day 9: NJP – Mumbai (Train Journey)

Enjoy the train journey with your new friends, recall the travel memories, and play games. (Note: there is no food included in the train journey)

Day 10:

Reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus station by 05:50 pm in the evening with a wonderful experience and memories of our Sikkim-Darjeeling trip!
